Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Finance, our Finance Manager will take the lead on all Revenue and Margin budgeting and forecasting processes for the Express Brand. We're looking for someone that has the finance and accounting know-how to hit the ground running on maintenance and improvement of our financial models combined with operational savvy to collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization. This is a highly visible role that requires a great deal of judgement and intellectual honesty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build, maintain and continually refine methodology and processes for company budget and forecasts
  • Ownership of Revenue and Margin monthly forecast in partnership with Marketing & Planning KPI owners
  • Research and clearly explain Revenue/Margin variances vs Budget/Forecast during month end
  • Lead finance team deliverables including results analysis, BoD presentations, monthly/quarterly performance reviews
  • Play an integral role in building out long range planning
  • Ad-hoc business analysis (e.g. Business cases, model operating changes) in conjunction with functional partners
  • Provide visibility into financial performance through continuous and consistent reporting including key drivers of change
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting by managing company reporting, cash flow projections and balance sheet items


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Math; Advanced degree (CPA or MBA) preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting with 2+ years of manager experience
  • Prior retail finance / accounting experience a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Google Sheets a plus
