Responsibilities
The Sr Specialist creates, enhances, and launches store merchandise and non-merchandise processes. They partner with field leaders and cross- functional partners to gather feedback, identify gaps, and develop new ways to approach projects and initiatives. They innovate, evolve, and create efficiencies to drive speed and simplification while increasing availability of merchandise and conversion.

Responsbilities:
Store Deliveries
- Influence and lead cross- functional collaborators in supporting critical store merchandise activities.
- Analyze data trends by store and area to foresee and prevent future issues.
- Identify and manage delivery challenges to impact labor scheduling and shipment processing.
- Provide immediate communication and analysis on delivery changes.
- Coordinate initiatives regarding special logistics projects, such as reverse transportation of products or supplies, store-to-store movement, merchandise recalls, etc.
- Identify and create processes and SOPs to drive improvements.
- Partner with logistics team to strategize cost savings and drive speed.
- Proactively identify and resolve urgent issues by analyzing situation, assessing data, and launching concise communication.
Merchandise/Non-Merchandise Processes and Procedures
- Lead the continued development of processes and procedures that deliver desired results and support achieving sales and customer service metrics.
- Drive change through testing, development, communication and support of field tools such as QRGs, job aids, reports, videos, eLearnings, and one-on-one support.
- Lead and influence other functions within the organization to build processes that support the successful execution of in store merchandise and non-merchandise processes.
- Provide day to day direction, coaching, solutions and communication to stores and field leaders to drive effective execution.
- Create content and edit existing materials to continuously evolve training for store leaders and associates.
- Identify topics and construct material for leadership meetings and field launch meetings.
- Influence Design and Construction team regarding design and layout of non-sales areas, including all new and remodeled stores to support efficient processes, determine capacities and maximize space.
- Manage store-to-store merchandise movement, including collaboration with field and allocations team to make determinations and recommendations, communicate, and provide compliance reporting and follow-up.
- Direct point of contact for DMs and Regionals for initiatives, issue resolution and creative problem solving.
- Control systematic functionality and partner with finance and stores regarding hours funding for transfers
- Collaborate with Inventory Control team and field to plan, communicate and execute fleet wide physical inventory bi- annually.
- Continually update and revise SOPs for inventory processes.
- Assist in planning the launch and providing ongoing support for RFID usage, in conjunction with current merchandise processes, such as transfers, replenishment, and recalibration.
- Evaluate and manage store supply program, acting as a liaison and decision maker regarding needs assessment, catalog updates, new item creation, and low usage elimination on behalf of the field and corporate office partners.
- Serve as an expert resource to other departments regarding merchandise and non-merchandise issues and special projects.
- Provide expertise and obtain field input where needed.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Years of Experience: 3-5
- Travel: 15-20%

- Ability to successfully interact with corporate office and field executives (regionals, directors and vice presidents), as well as front-line store Associates
