Responsibilities

The role is responsible for the management of systems and operations for the Sourcing team- including Sourcing & Production, Raw materials and Technical Design. This role will support both the Express leadership team but will also be providing support to the Sourcing leaders in EXPR brands. Will also manage team of direct reports who will own all Licensing order management and vendor relationships both domestic and internationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing systems:
  1. Manage current reports for the sourcing team- e.g. SAID/DID, PLT, Cost Report, trouble shooting issues with Smart Charts
  2. Ideate and create workflows and deliver and support strategies within the Sourcing and Production Systems
  3. New vendor onboarding and support on Bamboo Rose
  4. New team member training on Bamboo Rose
  5. Create new reports from scratch as business needs evolve
  6. Support Directors and above on pulling ad hoc reports
  7. Support VPs and above with analysis of on order data
  8. Provide project management and act as a liaison for Sourcing with IT to resolve system issues or execute projects


Sourcing Operations:
  1. Manage and execute any large system updates such as and not limited to- INCO terms change,
  2. Oversee International License purchase Order management for Express brands.
  3. Requires working with international partners and directly managing how we process and approve vendors. Ensures any decisions that are made are in line with the terms with EXPR estetic and are contributing to profitability according to the financial agreement.
  4. Responsible for building the SOP and strategy/KPIs for purchase order team
  5. Align with WHP senior leadership and needs to be able to articulate the EXPR work to report back to this group, obtain feedback, and collect data and report back to S&P leaders
  6. Collection/analysis of required data to prepare Sourcing Strategy documents
  7. Complete new vendor/factory set up requests
  8. Support VPs on any sell off requests
  9. Support internal Logistics and DC teams on vendor compliance management - in addition to compliance, will made recommendations and put into place any changes or edits to the partnership or processes
  10. PO support and maintenance- egs. and not limited to
    1. Express Buy Orders Failure Report
    2. Express Color Size Master Report
    3. Unreleased PO and PO w/out Delivery Terms Report
    4. Dropping seasons in PO system


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8 - 10 years relevent experience
  • Must have 5 + years prior management experience as this person will manage direct reports (licensing PO team)


CRITICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
  1. Strong knowledge of systems and technology- knowledge of Bamboo Rose, Unique and Micro Strategy will be considered a plus
  2. Ability to create reports from scratch
  3. Advanced Microsoft user (Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, etc.)
  4. Effective problem solving and analytical abilities
  5. Demonstrates ability to add value to an organization through general business analysis leading to operational change
  6. Ability to deal with ambiguity / bring business maturity to situations
  7. Personal initiative, energy, "self-starter"
  8. Proactive in terms of recommending ideas and courses of action
