Responsibilities

The Manager Sales Audit is responsible for designing and implementing procedures to ensure the accurate reporting of sales, recovery of cash from credit transactions and control of all store level cash within the business. This person is also responsible for monitoring systems and collaborating cross functionally to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy and consistency in accordance with SOX/internal controls. The Sales Audit Manager works closely with executive and functional leaders to implement new systems and mitigate financial loss.
  • Guide and lead team of accountants responsible for cash, credit and gift card reconciliations
  • Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations during month end close process to ensure timely and accurate financials
  • Develop budgets and manage forecasts related to cash management activities in collaboration with FP&A partners
  • Functional project lead for systems upgrades and new system implementations overlapping the Sales Audit space
  • Drive and maintain successful partnerships across functions internally as well as externally with banking and credit partners to reduce fees, certify compliance and ensure proper fiscal management

Job Requirements
  • 5-8 years of accounting experience; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; project management and system implementation experience preferred; proven ability to drive favorable financial results through new initiatives and manage successful cross functional engagements; additional credentials a plus i.e MBA, CPA
