Responsibilities and Qualifications
Bonobos is seeking a Manager of Retail Operations who will be responsible for leading a team to support our Guideshop locations through building and refining processes, tools, training, engagement, and communication to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. This Manager of Retail Operations must have effective communication and people skills to work cross-functionally with various teams across the business, including Visual Merchandising, Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, Technology, Real Estate, and Product teams. The Manager of Retail Operations will report directly to our Director of Guideshops and partner with District Managers and Guideshop Managers.

Actual compensation offered is dependent upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, work location, education, relevant skills and experience of the candidate.
Salary Range
$110,300 - $167,200

Responsibilities and Qualifications
Bonobos is seeking a Manager of Retail Operations who will be responsible for leading a team to support our Guideshop locations through building and refining processes, tools, training, engagement, and communication to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers. This Manager of Retail Operations must have effective communication and people skills to work cross-functionally with various teams across the business, including Visual Merchandising, Operations, Finance, Marketing, HR, Technology, Real Estate, and Product teams. The Manager of Retail Operations will report directly to our Director of Guideshops and partner with District Managers and Guideshop Managers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team that supports Guideshop locations
- Manage Guideshop operations including communications, training, systems, reporting, and facilities
- Enhance customer experience by working with partners across the organization to continually improve tools used by Guides
- Manage and enhance the processes for Guideshop facilities maintenance and ensure emergency procedures are in place
- Oversee construction projects and lead cross-functional teams in new store openings and store improvement projects
- Partner with field leaders and cross-functional corporate partners to execute and refine the process to build a set-to-scale Guideshop opening and renovation process
- Establish and monitor budgets and tools to drive continuous improvement in expense control
- Manage the ordering process and vendor relationships for Guideshop branded supplies
- Oversee Guideshop training that encompasses the creation of tools, resources, programs and support
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Have 7-10 years of relevant retail operations or similar experience
- Are an experienced leader with the ability to build an engaged and highly effective team
- Able to lead through influence, and nurture numerous cross functional relationships.
- Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Are able to see other points of view while maintaining confident direction
- Demonstrate extraordinary problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize workload
- Have a track record of fostering strong vendor relationships
- Have an entrepreneurial spirit and think creatively to grow company profitability
- Able to travel to markets across the country to support Guideshop locations
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
