The IT Internal Auditor is responsible for performing day-to-day IT audit and SOX procedures and tasks, provide feedback to IT Internal Audit Management, and informing IT business partners regarding the status / results of audits and SOX testing.
  • Perform IT audit procedures of information technology systems and infrastructures to verify systems are secure and support related applications or business processes
  • Provide regular updates on audit status, issues, and concerns to the Manager IT Internal Audit
  • Perform information technology general controls SOX testing
  • Advanced functional / professional knowledge and pursue audit-related certifications (e.g. CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISM)

  • BA / BS in MIS or related field; 0-2 years of audit experience in public or private settings; possess, or actively pursuing CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISM, or similar profession certifications.

  • Understanding of audit concepts / technical accounting guidelines; basic understanding of IT general controls; excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite applications and automated audit software.
