Responsibilities

The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design, development and delivery of innovative and engaging learning and development solutions, programs, and associate resources. The incumbent is the key administrator and project consultant for the Learning Management System.

  • Partners with Organizational Development (OD) Team to assess key learning needs and develops the content to address skills development
  • Responsible for the instructional design and development of learning programs enterprise-wide aligned to the EXPR Core Competencies, leadership and functional skills
  • Applies adult learning theories, instructional design, and creative approaches to develop digital (eLearning) and instructor-led learning solutions
  • Develops facilitator guides, participant materials, learning assessments and quick reference guides adhering to Brand guidelines and voice
  • Creates communication plans to support OD offerings in collaboration with Corporate Communications
  • Facilitates training programs in instructor-led/virtual environments
  • Administers LMS learning content, including SCORM loading, course creation, etc.
  • Develops reporting from LMS to identify training results and effectiveness


Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Instructional/Organizational Design, Human Resources or Education or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products
  • Proficient in InDesign and Adobe Editor
  • Fluent in instructional design theory and practical application
  • Experienced in the use of online learning development tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise 360)
  • Learning Management System experience (Workday)
