Job Summary

The D irector of Talent Acquisition will develop and execute a forward-focused talent acquisition strategy for the enterprise that will directly influence our ability to deliver against our goals. They will provide a deep understanding of the external environment, organizational and divisional landscape and the HR strategic agenda, and vigorously ensure that recruiting delivery is aligned to support broad recruiting solutions, process improvements and activities.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Create strategies that creatively differentiate ourselves in the marketplace that disrupt our current traditional recruiting practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies that drives internal talent discussions for all levels.
  • Develop and execute the talent acquisition strategic vision that cultivates a high-performance environment, has a diverse slate of candidates and ensures that the company has a talent network made up of best individuals in the industry.
  • Continuously improve the selection process and hiring decisions that reflect the business needs.
  • Create and provide a high caliber and consistent experience for both hiring manager and candidate throughout the process inclusive of sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding.
  • Build Talent Acquisition Consultant capability (business acumen, collaborating and influencing skills) and creates a strong sense of team unity and engagement.
  • Develop a workforce planning process that anticipates skill requirements and builds the recruiting capability to ensure access to the talent required to meet the current and future business needs.
  • Build strong and effective relationships with critical stakeholders and peers to share identified themes and/or information, influence change, and leverage resources to deliver results. e.: Legal, Benefits, LOA, HR Operations and HR Business Partners.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field.
  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, 5+ years managing a talent acquisition team.
  • Experience developing sourcing /recruiting strategies that continually feed the candidate pipeline based on market availability and existing internal candidate pool.

Desired Qualifications
  • Retail Industry Experience/Retail Environment.
  • Direct experience leading and managing recruiting teams, including experience leading remote teams.
  • Experience with Workday platform and multiple social media platforms a plus.
