Responsibilities and Qualifications

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Bonobos California District Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Guideshop business in the California district. The District Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales and supporting teams in all stores in the district. The District Manager will foster an environment that provides exceptional customer service and expands our loyal customer base. The District Manager will lead by embracing the Bonobos vision, standards, and productivity through talent management and development. This position will report to the Director of Guideshops.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead a district of up to 15 Guideshop locations
  • Drive business results by analyzing business trends, maximizing daily sales plans, and developing teams
  • Analyze business results in all your Guideshop locations to identify and coach opportunities, as well as celebrate successes
  • Think strategically to create and execute business strategies that will close performance gaps in Guideshops
  • Support and provide accountability to Guideshop teams in sales performance, payroll control, and procedural compliance
  • Identify opportunities to generate traffic to Guideshop locations by promoting brand awareness in new and existing markets
  • Recruit, hire, develop, and retain top talent
  • Inspire, motivate, and lead through Bonobos Core Virtues
  • Support strong visual merchandising standards across all Guideshops in partnership with the Regional Director and Visual Merchandising team
  • Have a strong presence in Guideshop locations through consistent visits. Partner with the Regional Director and peers to action on learnings to ensure we are delivering an extraordinary customer experience
  • Foster an environment of innovation and promote an entrepreneurial mindset

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Have in-depth California retail experience.
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years managing General Managers or 5-8 years as a General Manager
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited by the challenges of continuing the expansion of a brand across the US
  • Are a triple threat that is made up of equal parts training, sales, and operations
  • Are equipped with experience leading store teams of varying volumes in both traffic and revenue.
  • Have a thorough understanding of our brand's style and mission: To make fits and connections that inspire people to be themselves
  • Lead by example and are enthusiastic about coaching and mentoring your team
  • Able to travel to all stores within the district (up to 75% of the time)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary Range

$105,800 - $158,700
