Decision Science Summer Intern


The Express Summer Internship Program is a 10-week paid program that offers undergraduate Juniors and Seniors the opportunity to work with and learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to various aspects of a retail fashion company. The Summer Intern class will include students interested in hands-on experience in an area of interest and exposure to cross-functional collaboration as well as gaining valuable professional development.

The 2023 program runs from June 5th to August 11th, and positions will be available in our Columbus, Ohio headquarters.


  • Identify opportunities in the business that can be solved by leveraging predictive and prescriptive analytics to drive business value
  • Leveraging data through advanced analytical capabilities
  • Asking relevant questions to connect the dots between business challenges
  • Assess how machine learning methodologies can add value
  • Understand how to measure performance and impact of initiatives
  • Work with Data Scientists and cross-functional partners to scope
  • Ask relevant business questions
  • Aid in the dissemination of analytical best practices throughout the organization

Key Attributes

  • Experience with a programming language such as Python or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Plotly or Matplotlib
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment, including test-driven development
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and programming frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once


  • Availability to work full time (40 hours per week)
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with some specialization in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar focus
  • Preferred GPA at or above 3.2
